The Heartsaver ® First Aid course offers education for those who need a certification in Basic First Aid Training. Venus Heart CPR Training offers Basic First Aid Training courses with the option to include cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and automated external defibrillator (AED) training.
This American Heart Association Basic First Aide Class is suitable for both Medical and Non-Medical Professionals.
Successful completion of the Basic First Aide course includes:
- First Aid Basics: Duties and Key Steps
- Medical Emergencies
- Injury Emergencies
- Environmental Emergencies
- Preventing Illness and Injury; Legal Questions
Upon completion of this course, students receive an American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid Course Completion Card that is valid 2 years from the date of the course.
If your choose the First Aide course that includes Heartsaver ® CPR (adult, child, infant & AED) training, your First Aide Course Completion Card will reflect this and you will be certified in First Aide, CPR & AED. The American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aide + CPR & AED certification is valid two years from the date of the course.
